I live in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island — our lovely city by the sea — where I find endless inspiration in the coastal light, ocean air, and community around me. My journey with pottery began when one my daughters gave me a pottery class as a birthday gift. From the moment I sat at the wheel, I fell in love with the feel of the clay and the joy of creating something beautiful with my hands.

When I’m not in the studio, you can usually find me in the garden, entertaining, experimenting with fiber arts, or spending time on the water boating with family and friends. I love the simple pleasures of coastal living — a good breeze, a shared meal, and the satisfaction that comes from making things by hand. Each piece I create reflects a bit of that joy, inspired by life here in Newport and the people who make it feel like home.
